Capcom has announced that more games in the Resident Evil series are coming to Nintendo Switch, news that was shared in this week’s Nintendo Direct presentation.
These will come to the portable home console as cloud-based versions, with the latest game in the series, Resident Evil Village Cloud, to be the first to release next month. As with other cloud-based games, there is a free demo to test your connection with before either pre-ordering or purchasing the full game.
It was also confirmed that the Winters’ Expansion downloadable content for Resident Evil Village Cloud – which adds a third-person mode, additional story content and more will be made available on 2nd December 2022.
Resident Evil Village Cloud will release digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 28th October 2022, with Resident Evil 2 Cloud, Resident Evil 3 Cloud and Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Cloud to follow later this year.
