With the impact that COVID-19 has had on the world, Nintendo will not host a Nintendo Direct presentation in June 2020.

That’s according to a report from VentureBeat, which has shared that the company is telling their development partners that they will not broadcast a video around the time that, under normal circumstances, would have coincided with E3 2020.

This has resulted from the complications that have surrounded the work-from-home order that the Japanese government issued in response to the Coronavirus pandemic.

It has forced Nintendo to push back their schedule, which VentureBeat speculates would mean that the next Nintendo Direct presentation “may not come until the very end of summer.”
