PLAYISM and nocras have announced that TASOMACHI: Behind The Twilight will release soon on Nintendo Switch.
After her airship suddenly breaks down, Yukumo explores a mysterious Far Eastern town to search for parts so that she can make a return. However, after the town was covered by the Twilight Mist those that once lived there have disappeared and only a strange cat-like species continue to populate it.
You must assist the feline Nezu Tribe in what is pitched as a “homage to collect-a-thon platformers,” with the chance to freely explore the world and overcome platforming challenges in an effort to recover hidden Sources of Earth to help restore the town’s lost brilliance.
The publisher has broken down the game’s key features as below:
- The Town: Wander and explore this mysterious and beautiful town. As time slowly creeps by, the subtle differences in the town between night and day are mesmerizing.The Nezu Tribe – the only remaining inhabitants of the town – just may provide some useful hints regarding the Sources of Earth;
- Sanctuaries: Test your skills in the athletic stage-like “Sanctuaries” located on the edge of town;
- Your Airship: Hop into Yukumo’s trusty airship to explore piers, valleys, and lakes. Gather the Sources of Earth to expand the scope of your adventure even further;
- Outfit Changes & More Extras: Collect money around town to change outfits and decorate your room. Try to complete the entire collection!
TASOMACHI: Behind The Twilight will release digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 28th April 2022.
