Darril Arts and Stormind Games have announced that Remothered: Tormented Fathers has suffered a delay on Nintendo Switch.

This has allowed the developer more time to “polish and tune the final product” to meet their standards.

“[We] are committed to providing an immersive and gripping experience for the player. The extra time for the project will help us reach that goal,” Stormind Games explain.

“We want the Nintendo Switch version of Remothered: Tormented Fathers for North America, Europe, and Australia, to be a release that lives up to both the standards of our players and our studio.”

Remothered: Tormented Fathers is a purist horror game in which you play as Rosemary Reed – a woman who is investigating the disappearance of a young girl called Celeste.

With DICO handling the port to the portable home console, the experience will see you search for clues at the home of Celeste’s adoptive father Richard, but, after her investigation is soon stonewalled, she returns in the evening to find herself fighting for her life in a waking nightmare.

Remothered: Tormented Fathers will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on August 30th priced at £26.99 ($29.99), and at retailers worldwide on October 31st.
