Darril Arts and Stormind Games have announced that Remothered: Tormented Fathers will release on Nintendo Switch this month.
In this purist horror game, you play as Rosemary Reed – a woman who is investigating the disappearance of a young girl called Celeste.
With DICO handling the port to the portable home console, that will see you search for clues at the home of Celeste’s adoptive father Richard, but, after her investigation is soon stonewalled, she returns in the evening to find herself fighting for her life in a waking nightmare.
“I really want to thank our loyal community for making it possible for us to bring our story to the Nintendo Switch so that even more people can experience it,” explains author and creative director Chris Darril.
“We want fans of serious horror games on every platform to know that developers like us will always be there to create powerful narratives for them.”
Stormind Games CEO and co-founder Antonio Cannata adds: “We can’t wait to show Nintendo fans that they also have access to a deep, terrifying, survival-horror experience.
“We are not only very proud of our unique position as a successor to classic survival horror games, but also one of the few to bring that genre to the Switch.”
Remothered: Tormented Fathers will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on July 26th priced at £26.99 ($29.99), and at retailers worldwide on October 31st.
