Modus Games, Darril Arts, and Stormind Games have confirmed their decision to delay Remothered: Broken Porcelain‘s release date on Nintendo Switch.

“After much consideration, we’ve reached a decision with the team at Stormind Games to delay Remothered: Broken Porcelain’s release until Oct. 20 of this year,” the publisher explained in an update.

“We are incredibly excited to invite players into this wonderfully realized chapter of the Remothered story, but it’s important that we deliver the experience fans deserve. Having additional time for polish and to accommodate unanticipated longer timeframes due to the current global situation will help us do exactly that.

“We cannot thank the fans of Remothered enough for their patience and the passionate enthusiasm they’ve shared for Remothered: Broken Porcelain, and we look forward to seeing their reactions when they play the game later this year.”

Remothered: Broken Porcelain is the sequel to the award-winning Remothered: Tormented Fathers, a third-person action-adventure that works to weave psychological horror, mystery, and survival elements together for an unforgettable and haunting experience.

You will check into the Ashmann Inn, a decrepit ruin that’s rife with secrets, danger, and curious patrons. There are perplexing puzzles to solve, but the inn’s ancient halls hold more than just mystery.

Terrifying hunters roam the building, and, to survive your stay, you must work out when to slip by them undetected or when to face your fear head-on.

Remothered: Broken Porcelain will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 20th October 2020.
