degoma has revealed that Reggie, His Cousin, Two Scientists And Most Likely The End Of The World is in development for Nintendo Switch.

This upcoming platformer is pitched as “an epic quirky sci-fi adventure about time travel and its consequences.”

Reggie comes from the sixteen-thousandth century, but, when everyone suddenly forgets the twelfth century, it has dramatic consequences in the far future.

Science is no longer as far developed as it once was, and so Reggie and his friends travel back in time to encourage a well-known scientist in the sixteenth century to come up with his theory about gravity.

You can expect black holes, time travel, dinosaurs, a gnome University, alternative dark dimensions and an unexpected final villain who likes the universe without science better, as you explore hand-drawn cartoony worlds in this gravity-based action-platformer.

The developer promises 12 hours of gameplay and one entire hour of frame-to-frame animated cutscenes, packed with humour and “epic plot twists.” There will also be a local co-op mode where a second player can join your adventure as Reggie’s cousin.

Reggie, His Cousin, Two Scientists And Most Likely The End Of The World will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2022.
