Reggie Fils-a-Mech takes on Shigeru Miyamoto in real-life Project Giant Robot

Nintendo’s incomparable Shigeru Miyamoto has already given us significant insight into his Wii U effort, Project Giant Robot. But now he’s brought it one step further to realisation.

In perfectly demonstrating the company’s playful willingness to have fun we witness Reggie Fils-a-Mech take on Shigeru Miyamoto, who defends himself by cladding Bill Trinen in cardboard boxes as his robot. It’s quirky fun, and equally surprising just how into it all three of them get. That is until Bill tumbles over, and Miyamoto accepts defeat. We’ll have to keep an eye out for Reggie’s mechanical counterpart…
