The Pokémon Company and Game Freak have revealed that those who buy the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield Double Pack will receive Dynamax Crystals as a special bonus.
You will receive two redeemable codes – one per game – that will reward you with Dynamax Crystals.
Using these will make a special Max Raid Battle available in your game, letting you face Dynamax Larvitar and Dynamax Jangmo-o – which can’t normally be encountered until later in the game.
You can attempt these Max Raid Battles as many times as it takes to win, or until midnight on the day that the Dynamax Crystal was used.
And, while Larvitar won’t appear in Pokémon Sword and Jangmo-o won’t appear in Pokémon Shield during normal gameplay, you can catch them in either version with these Dynamax Crystals.
In Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, you will choose between three starter Pokémon – Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble – before having the chance to explore the Galar region – with its idyllic countryside, contemporary cities, thick forests, and craggy, snow-covered mountains. Challenging the Gyms in the region, you will once again look to become Champion.
Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide on November 15th.
