Dangen Entertainment and Puff Hook Studio have confirmed a release date for Recall: Empty Wishes on Nintendo Switch.
This emotionally charged 2D psychological thriller is set in 2010s Taiwan where reality and illusion collide, with the developer having taken inspiration from story-driven games like To The Moon, The Coma: Recut and Detention.
After Yonny’s beloved brother Tommy vanishes without a trace, her determination to uncover the truth behind his disappearance leads her to a surreal realm connected by an old toy phone receiver. It allows Yonny and her friend Phoebe to explore the memory echoes of those tied to Tommy’s fate, from which she learns their deepest desires and secrets.
In this 2D side-scrolling gameplay experience, you will relive pivotal moments in the lives of such characters. This will help you to unravel a tangled web of mystery and emotion, uncovering choices that will shape the story’s haunting conclusion.
