Rebellion CEO Jason Kingsley had once shared his excitement about Nintendo NX, as it was then known. Now that it has been revealed to the world as Nintendo Switch, the developer was once again asked their thoughts on the console as they continue to promote Sniper Elite 4.

“It’s always exciting to see a new console and of course a new Nintendo console,” the developer enthused to WCCFTech.

“The Switch certainly brings some fascinating options to the table – I know our co-founder Chris Kingsley said he likes how flexible the controllers are. Currently, we’ve only announced Sniper Elite 4 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and we’ve got nothing more to announce at the moment.”

Rebellion developed Sniper Elite V2 for Wii U, which Kingsley previously revealed had been “modestly successful” despite arriving a year after it debuted on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Before that, they had worked on titles across Wii, GameCube, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Color, and even as far back as Game Boy with 1998’s Klustar.

Nintendo Switch will launch worldwide on Friday 3rd March, priced at £279.99 ($299.99).
