Rayquaza to appear in Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire


Rayquaza will appear in Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire as a third Legendary Pokémon, it has been confirmed today.

The Dragon and Flying-type Legendary Pokémon first appeared in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire and was the cover star of Emerald, and is said to have lived in the ozone layer for hundreds of millions of years. As to how you will catch the Sky High Pokémon, The Pokémon Company International have shared that: “According to legend, when Groudon and Kyogre clash, Rayquaza descends to the planet’s surface.” It is also somehow related to the mystery behind Mega Evolution.

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire will release in Japan, Australia and North America on November 21st, and Europe on November 28th.
