Outright Games has teamed up with MGA Entertainment to release Rainbow High: Runway Rush on Nintendo Switch.
Xaloc Studios is behind this puzzle adventure game, which is the first console game based on the popular fashion doll brand. You will have to put together your first creative assignment with the theme “Everything is Art,” with the chance to play as one of the six original Rainbow High characters – Ruby, Poppy, Sunny, Jade, Skyler or Violet.
You will need to utilise their different creative skills as you play, such as Sunny’s illustrations or Skyler’s fashion design, to complete puzzles and help your classmates. Working together to demonstrate your artistic flair and to create a standout idea, the team with the best creation will be rewarded with the chance to plan a major project for the Creative Spring Challenge.
There will be the chance to explore “many beloved locations from the series,” and in addition to the main story mode you can take on a series of quests, play mini-games and find collectibles to level up your characters with unlockable outfits.
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features, which include:
- Explore The School: Discover the classrooms, the student’s bedrooms, Rainbow Union, and more.
- Choose Your BFF: Play as Ruby, Poppy, Sunny, Jade, Skyler, and Violet
- Help Your Friends: Share your unique talents with them and complete your first assignment
- Solve The Puzzles: Find clues, collect rainbow diamonds, and unlock the coolest outfits
- Everything Is Art: It’s time to transform creative struggles into creative brilliance.
Rainbow High: Runway Rush will release at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Fall 2023.
