Akupara Games and Oscar Brittain have announced that Desert Child will release on Nintendo Switch, a game where you must hunt bounties, deliver pizzas and throw races to earn cash.

Broke, hungry and with your vintage hoverbike and a bowl of ramen noodles as your only friends, you play as a young and talented hoverbike racer who must figure out how to make ends meet.

With Earth slowly starting to become uninhabitable, many have moved to Mars to enjoy a better quality of life. You must scrape enough cash together to apply for the government subsidy to assist your own relocation before the price is hiked up in two weeks.

Moving to the Red Planet presents the chance to enter the biggest race in the universe, the Grand Prix, but, before you can leave, you’ll repair and upgrade your hoverbike as you work hard to save up enough money to realise your dream.

Desert Child will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in December.
