MLB Advanced Media has announced that R.B.I. Baseball 18 will release on Nintendo Switch next week, their latest take on the bat-and-ball game.

The game, which has been created by an in-house development team, will have an all-new Franchise Mode, Home Run Derby Mode, more than 100 historic MLB legends, redesigned player models, hundreds of new animations, enhanced ballparks, and the ability to import rosters into an in-progress franchise.

“We are pleased to announce that R.B.I. Baseball 18 for Nintendo Switch has been approved by Nintendo and is scheduled for a digital release via the Nintendo eShop on June 14. Europe and Japan should release on the Nintendo eShop the following week…” the publisher explained.

“We’re continuing to work with our partners to finalize a distribution date to all North American retailers. We will update you with that information as soon as it is confirmed. We’re sorry for the delays you have experienced. Thank you for your patience and support.”

R.B.I. Baseball 18 will release for Nintendo Switch in North America on June 14th, and in Europe and Japan on June 21st.
