Putty Squad stretches to Wii U and 3DS


Putty, a stretchy bluey blob that first made an appearance within the 1992 Amiga classic of the same name, will soon return to the spotlight.

System 3 are to release Putty Squad this summer, celebrating the developer’s 30th year anniversary.

A complete graphical overhaul, finely tuned gameplay, and free downloadable levels are promised, as Putty inflate, morphs and stretches his way through his adventure.

“Working on such a prestigious title again and to bring it up-to-date, brings back many great memories. Fans of the original are excited to get their hands on the return of the morphing blue blob hero,” System 3’s CEO Mark Cale stated.

“Putty Squad will be available on multiple platforms, where gamers can reconnect with their classic hero, discovering Putty unlike before.”

Putty Squad will release in summer for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, and you can check out a teaser trailer below:
