Ripstone Games and VooFoo Studios have confirmed a release date for their cue sports simulation Pure Pool on Nintendo Switch.

The game has been optimised for the portable home console, running at a “solid” 60 frames per second and either 1080p docked or 720p in Handheld Mode.

You can anticipate a single-player Campaign Mode, skill-based challenges like Snooker Colours, Perfect Potter and Breakpoint, unlockable customisation options and multiple modes of pool and snooker such as Killer and American 8 Ball.

There will be the chance to compete on global online leadboards as well as in local and online multiplayer modes which have Cross-Play support with Steam.

Pure Pool also comes to Nintendo Switch with all the snooker content from the game’s original downloadable content.

“We’ve had an amazing reaction to our initial announcement of Pure Pool coming to Nintendo Switch,” enthuses Ripstone Games’ Hollie Pattison.

“The game runs like a dream on Switch and really delivers the ultimate billiards experience on the platform. We’ve prepared a new video that shows off the game in all its glory and we hope everyone is excited to grab their Switch and play some frames on November 17th!”

Pure Pool will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 17th November 2020 priced at £12.49 ($14.99), with a 20 percent pre-order discount now available.
