Image & Form Games has rounded out a tremendously successful year by revealing that they hard at work on SteamWorld Project 2017.

This will be the fourth game in their robotic universe after SteamWorld Tower Defense, action-adventure SteamWorld Dig, and turn-based strategy shooter SteamWorld Heist, which have all seen release on Nintendo platforms.

The Swedish developer has promised to share more on their new project next year but has confirmed that it will be playable at PAX East in Boston, Massachusetts which will be held between Friday 10th – Sunday 12th March 2017.

We can hazard a guess that this all relates to the Nintendo Switch game that Image & Form has in development, and, perhaps, to the SteamWorld Quest project name that was outed after the developer had applied for a grant from the European Commission’s Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).

2017 will also mark Image & Form Games 20th anniversary, for which they plan to share surprises!
