Crunchyroll has announced that the Crunchyroll app is now available on Nintendo Switch, letting your stream your favourite anime on your TV while your console is docked or on the go in Handheld and Tabletop modes.

Offering access to more than 1,000 titles in a variety of languages, that includes recent hits like Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, JUJUTSU KAISEN, My Hero Academia and Tokyo Revengers, classics such as One Piece, Naruto Shippuden, Hunter x Hunter and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and their own “critically-acclaimed” Crunchyroll Originals.

Those with Mega Fan or Ultimate Fan subscriptions will be able to remove ads, access new episodes one hour after Japan and enjoy offline viewing, which allows “for the same off-network anime access available through mobile devices.”

The service warns that offline viewing files are large, and therefore recommends using a microSD card “for the best experience.”

Crunchyroll is now available digitally as a free download on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
