Kalypso Media and SomaSim have announced that Project Highrise: Architect’s Edition will release on Nintendo Switch this month.

You work as an architect and developer and must build world-famous skyscrapers that will be the envy of the entire city, masterpieces of art and engineering.

From the moment that you break ground, every decision will rest with you. That means that you must coordinate the construction of everything – every wall and wire, every office and apartment.

You will also need to keep your tenants happy and that they pay their rent on time. That will require constant investment in the building to let it remain a prestigious address, rather than choosing not to that will see tenants leave in disgust and taking their business elsewhere.

The portable home console port will have both the base game, Las Vegas downloadable content and the Miami Malls, Tokyo Towers, London Life and Brilliant Berlin content packs.

“Everyone at Kalypso Media is excited to be releasing our first title on Nintendo Switch,” enthuses Kalypso Media Group founder and global managing director, Simon Hellwig.

“We tend to not think about all the work that goes into building and maintaining the homes and offices we live and work in, and Project Highrise: Architect’s Edition is an engaging simulation of all the challenges and creative freedoms that this brings.

“The game has been a massive success on PC and mobile, and we’re looking forward to our Switch, PlayStation and Xbox fans constructing and managing the buildings of their dreams this autumn.”

Project Highrise: Architect’s Edition will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch in Europe on October 26th, and in North America on November 13th.
