Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney development nearly complete

Whilst we haven’t heard anything regarding the game in quite some time, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney “is at its climax” according to Ace Attorney creator Shuu Takumi.

In an interview with Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, Takumi explained “Production on Layton vs Ace Attorney is at its climax. It’s like my entire life is focused on it. While I still can’t say much, it’s progressing well, so please wait a bit more.”

“While [Latyon vs Ace Attorney] is being developed jointly with Level-5, games are my job, so I can’t just leave it to someone else like with the movie.”

Takashi Miike, who directed the recent Ace Attorney film, also discussed a potential sequel, revealing that he wouldn’t want to simply convert Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Justice for All.
