Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that Dark Souls Remastered will release on Nintendo Switch, challenging you to survive in a despair-inducing dark fantasy universe.

Unforgiving in its punishment, the action role-playing game from developer FromSoftware has become notorious for its tense dungeon crawling and fearsome enemy encounters, where death comes as a constant lesson in learning how to overcome the countless murderous traps, grotesque mobs and supremely powerful demons that hide at every turn.

Created as a spiritual successor to Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls introduced Bonfires that serve as checkpoints in your epic adventure – places to recover your health and magic, but, once used, see all mobs respawn.

Dark Souls: Remastered will include the main game and the Artorias of the Abyss downloadable content, and will support up to six players online with dedicated servers.

Dark Souls: Remastered will release on Nintendo Switch worldwide on 25th May 2018.
