Monster Couch has announced that Die for Valhalla! will release on Nintendo Switch, an action RPG in which you must hack, slash, and crush your enemies.
When The Great Old One plots to take over the world and opens a monstrous portal in the land of the Vikings, chaos soon spreads far and wide.
You play as a Valkyrie, a supernatural maiden bestowed with the ability to possess fallen warriors. This will see you take full control over heroes, monsters, and any other bloodthirsty creature that will help the Vikings save their realm.
With more than 10 Viking Clans to discover and unlock each with their own special bonus and access to different Viking Classes, you can choose to play with up to four players in either the Beat ‘Em Up or Rogue-lite modes.
Beat ‘Em Up mode creates a larger world for you to explore with a more relaxed difficulty curve, you can revive your friends, and the potions that you can glug have useful or hilarious effects. Whereas Rogue-lite mode has a smaller world with a steeper difficulty curve, permadeath, and some potions will have malicious effects.
Die for Valhalla! will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on May 29th.
