Pokkén Tournament Character Reveal Promised On January 15th

Bandai Namco Entertainment has promised to share another character reveal for Pokkén Tournament on Friday 15th January.

Sceptile was the most recent addition to the playable roster, news of the reptilian Pokémon’s appearance coinciding with Farfetch’d and Electrode being announced as new Support Pokémon.

That also came alongside a Pokkén Tournament HORI Controller listing inadvertently revealing that the Wii U version being developed will include a Local Battle mode. That will see one player brawl from their own perspective on the Wii U GamePad, while another can use the main TV screen with any supported controller.

Pokkén Tournament originally saw release at Japanese arcades, and will launch as a Wii U exclusive in Spring 2016.
