Alongside his announcement of Mega Kangaskhan, Game Freak director Junichi Masuda had more news to share.
Whilst explaining how much the sound has evolved with the series’ shift to Nintendo 3DS, Masuda revealed that they will make the soundtrack to Pokémon X and Pokémon Y available to purchase through iTunes, having shared the Gym Trainer battle theme with attendees at the Pokémon World Championships 2013.
The album will boast a 202-strong track list, with a physical CD copy also set for release across Japan only.
