If you’ve become tired of levelling your party throughout the Pokémon series, Game Freak have made the process much easier for you in Pokémon X & Y.
Discussing their revisions in an interview with the Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream, the developer explained that Pokémon can now gain experience even when players successfully capture a wild Pokémon – the same amount as if you’d defeated it.
Of more significance are the changes to the Exp. Share item, which now provides experience to every Pokémon in your party and not just to those that participate in battle. Participating Pokémon will receive 100% of the total experience, whilst those that don’t will receive half.
