Pokémon X & Y players can look forward to another chance to put their teams to the test, with The Pokémon Company International announcing plans for the 2014 April Friendly competition.

To enter, players must log into the Pokémon Global Link and then click through to Online Competitions where they can submit their details, with registration beginning on April 17th and closing a week later on April 24th.

There are only 50,000 places available, so it is recommended that players register as soon as they can with spots being given on a first come, first served basis.

For more information, the official website has a full run down on all rules and restrictions.
