The latest issue of Japanese magazine CoroCoro has landed on subscriber doorsteps, revealing rather significant news regarding Pokémon X and Y.
Classic Pokémon such as Blaziken, Mewtwo and Lucario will return in new guises, as previously teased, seeing them evolve into “Mega” forms.
These will see such older creatures become re-imagined as MegaBlaziken, MegaAbsol, MegaMewtwo, MegaLucario and MegaAmpharos, with MegaMawile confirmed to now be a Steel and Fairy-type with the ability Huge Power.
Whereas MegaBlaziken has the Speed Boost move, MegaLucario has Adaptability and MegaAbsol has Magic Bounce.
We can expect more concrete information once The Pokémon Company decide to make an official announcement themselves.
