Pokémon Ultra Sun And Moon Lucky Egg Location And How To Get It

The Lucky Egg remains to be an invaluable item in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon, that, when held by a Pokémon, will see them gain 50 percent more experience than they normally would.

It’s therefore sought after to help players level their team to take on the Battle Tree, a place where Trainers that have completed the Island Challenge, or are strong enough to have done so, battle one another. These battles are tough, meaning that the Lucky Egg soon becomes an important part to help you to prepare.

The Lucky Egg was an item that you could only receive post-completion in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, and that’s still the case in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon.

The item is still received from Professor Kukui at the Pokémon Research Lab on Melemele Island, but, unlike last year’s Nintendo 3DS exclusive adventures, in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon you do not need to have added at least 50 Pokémon to your Pokédex.

That means that the only requirement to obtain the Lucky Egg is to complete the main storyline, which you will want to do as quickly as possible so that you can take on Team Rainbow Rocket in the postgame. For those needing directions, the Pokémon Research Lab is on the beach south of your house and east of the entrance to Ten Carat Hill.
