Pokémon The Series: XYZ Starts On Cartoon Network In February


The Pokémon Company International has teamed up with Cartoon Network to broadcast Pokémon the Series: XYZ, the latest season in their long-running anime.

Those in the United States will be able to tune to watch a new episode each Saturday throughout the year, with the season promising that viewers will discover the secrets of Legendary Pokémon Zygarde.

Carrying the slogan “a journey into uncharted territory,” the season will see Ash, Pikachu and friends continues to explore the mysteries that surround the Kalos region. That involves Team Flare who have plans to uncover the secret that Zygarde holds, Alain’s search for the source of Mega Evolution, and Ash and Frogadier’s bond reaching “surprising new heights.”

This year marks 20 years since the first Pokémon games launched in Japan, an occasion that will be celebrated with hardware bundles, a TCG expansion, movie re-releases, and monthly Mythical Pokémon distributions.
