After it was announced that Disney XD would become the new home for Pokémon the Series: Sun and Moon, The Pokémon Company has now confirmed that the new season hit the airwaves on Friday 12th May.
With Ash and friends newly arriving in the Alola region, their continued adventure will see them discover new Pokémon and make new friends along the way. Team Rocket remain a nuisance having also made the trip to the region and are out to steal whatever powerful Pokémon they can find, but they will face competition from the chaos that Team Skull are causing.
The first two Pokémon the Series: Sun and Moon episodes will air at 9pm on Friday 12th May, with the third to be broadcast at 9am on Saturday 13th May. Then, at 5pm, Disney XD has scheduled Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel as a special presentation.
The news comes after Disney XD broadcast a 24-hour Pokémon the Series: XY marathon last week.
