The Pokémon Company International has announced that the new Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield – Vivid Voltage expansion will release this November.
The expansion will introduce six Amazing Pokémon, six Pokémon VMAX, 11 Pokémon V, 13 full-art Pokémon V, 16 Trainer cards, seven full-art Supporter cards and four new Special Energy cards.
The recently discovered Mythical Pokémon Zarude will make its debut in the Pokémon TCG as well as Pikachu VMAX, Orbeetle VMAX and Coalossal VMAX shown in their Gigantamax forms.
The Amazing Pokémon are a new type of card with a special rarity symbol, that will feature “a Legendary or Mythical Pokémon like Celebi, illustrated with vividly rainbow backgrounds that extend outside of the frame, as well as foil and etched details.”
The Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield – Vivid Voltage expansion will release worldwide on 13th November 2020.
Whereas the Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield – Vivid Voltage Build and Battle Box will be made available earlier on 31st October 2020 at participating retailers.
This contains four Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield – Vivid Voltage booster packs, a 23-card Evolution pack that contains key cards from current and prior sets including one of four alternate-art promo cards and a deck-building tip sheet.
