The Pokémon Company International has announced that the new Pokémon TCG: Sun and Moon – Team Up expansion will release in February, introducing Tag Team Pokémon-GX cards for the first time.

These new cards were revealed at the 2018 Pokémon World Championships, and, with paired-up and powered-up Pokémon, present a powerful new gameplay mechanic that will thrill thanks to their high risk and high reward. That’s because an opponent can take three Prize cards when a Tag Team Pokémon-GX card is Knocked Out.

The expansion has more than 180 cards that include six Tag Team Pokémon-GX, six Pokémon-GX, four Prism Star Cards and more than 25 Trainer cards. You can look forward to cards like Pikachu and Zekrom-GX, Lycanroc-GX, Hoopa-GX and Cobalion-GX.

If you want to try the Pokémon TCG: Sun and Moon – Team Up expansion before it launches, you can head to pre-release tournaments that will take place around the United Kingdom between Saturday 19th – Sunday 27th January 2019.

The Pokémon TCG: Sun and Moon – Team Up expansion will release worldwide on 1st February 2019.
