The Pokémon Company International has announced that Pokémon TCG Pocket will receive a substantial 3.5 GB update this week.
To be pushed live on Wednesday 29 July 2026, Creatures Inc. and DeNA explain that the app update “will implement an upgrade to the latest version of our development environment (Unity), and is intended to improve the service we can provide going forward.”
After the download is complete, you will be able to receive 36 pack hourglasses as “a thank you for your cooperation,” which you have until Sunday 30 August 2026 to claim.
“The data in this download will overwrite existing data already installed,” the developer confirms. “Therefore, please be assured that the size of the app will not increase by the amount of data you download.
“Note: Since the amount of data in the download is large, we recommend performing the update while connected to Wi-Fi.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the large data download required for this update. 36 pack hourglasses will be distributed as a thank-you for your cooperation. You can claim the pack hourglasses from Gifts.”
