The Pokémon Company International has announced that those playing Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield can receive a weekly Mystery Gift over the next month.
This will reward you with four special Galarian Pokémon – Galarian Mr. Mime, Ponyta, Corsola and Meowth – that each has a Hidden Ability, which you will receive along with some bonus items.
Helping to lead up to The Isle of Armor, the first part of the Pokémon Sword Expansion Pass and Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass, these will be distributed on the following release schedule:
- Friday 22nd May 2020: Galarian Mr. Mime with its Hidden Ability Ice Body, plus a Lure Ball, a Moon Ball, a Heavy Ball, and a Dream Ball.
- Friday 29th May 2020: Galarian Ponyta with its Hidden Ability Anticipation, plus a Level Ball, a Fast Ball, a Love Ball, a Friend Ball, and a Beast Ball.
- Friday 5th June 2020: Galarian Corsola with its Hidden Ability Cursed Body, plus Evolution items Sweet Apple, Tart Apple, Chipped Pot, Cracked Pot, Sachet, and Whipped Dream.
- Friday 12th June 2020: Galarian Meowth with its Hidden Ability Unnerve, plus 100 Exp. Candies L and 50 Big Nuggets.
To claim a Mystery Gift in-game gift, follow these steps:
- Launch your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield game.
- Select Mystery Gift.
- Select Get a Mystery Gift.
- Select Get via Internet.
