Nintendo of Europe has announced a Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield digital pre-order bonus, rewarding those that are interested in buying the upcoming adventure on the Nintendo eShop.
Until stock runs out, those that choose to pre-order on the digital storefront will receive a voucher code that can be redeemed on the My Nintendo Store to receive a free Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield SteelBook case.
These voucher codes can be redeemed until 31st January 2020 on Nintendo of Europe’s website, however, “downloads made using a Nintendo Switch Game Voucher or a download code do not qualify for this offer.”
“After receiving the voucher code, please proceed to the check-out process on My Nintendo Store and enter the code during the payment sequence to exchange it for the SteelBook,” Nintendo explains.
“Orders are limited to one per Nintendo Account. No shipping costs apply. Delivery period is three to ten days upon redemption of the code. When redeeming the code in My Nintendo Store, the My Nintendo Store Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy apply.”
In Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, you will choose between three starter Pokémon – Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble – before having the chance to explore the Galar region – with its idyllic countryside, contemporary cities, thick forests, and craggy, snow-covered mountains. Challenging the Gyms in the region, you will once again look to become Champion.
Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide on November 15th.
