Pokémon Sun & Moon Trademarks Surface Online

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon trademarks have surfaced online, seemingly leaking the announcement preparing to be made in tomorrow’s Pokémon Direct.

Each trademark has appeared on the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM), filed on Nintendo’s behalf by Grünecker Patent und Rechtsanwälte.

This goes against wider expectation that Game Freak were developing Pokémon Z, which was most significantly indicated by the new Pokémon XY&Z anime series.

The Pokémon Direct will air at 3pm GMT (4pm CET) on Friday 26th February, and can be viewed on Twitch, YouTube or the Nintendo Direct website.
