Nintendo of America has announced plans to release Pokémon Rumble World as a retail version in April.

That sees all paid content components removed, which were in place for when it first saw release as a downloadable free-to-start game on the Nintendo eShop.

Pokémon Rumble World sees you take control of your Mii character, explore a kingdom filled with Toy Pokémon where the king recruits you to collect more than a mysterious magician.

The retail version will still incorporate Poké Diamonds, the Poké Diamond Digger and VIP Cards, but these won’t come at any additional cost to the player. Poké Diamonds are used to receive hot-air balloons to travel to new stages, unlock clothes for your Mii character and let you continue a stage even after your Pokémon’s HP runs out.

You will be given 3,000 Poké Diamonds after completing the tutorial, with the Poké Diamond Digger providing 40 more each day. After these are both received in-game, you will be handed two VIP Cards – the Balloon VIP Card and the Timing Stop VIP Card – which will make the quest easier to tackle.

Pokémon Rumble World will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS at retail across North America on April 29th.
