The Pokémon Company has teamed up with SCRAP to create a Real Escape game crossover to promote Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!.

The event will see attendees become a Pokémon Trainer, choosing between Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle as their Starter Pokémon before aiming to become a Pokémon Master. While your choice of Starter will not have a great impact on the game, it will change the order in which you tackle puzzles.

There are Professor and Trainer game options with difficulties suited to adults and primary to middle school students, respectively. Either way, it will take two to three hours to complete.

SCRAP will bring their real escape game to eight cities across Japan, running from different dates – the earliest being Thursday 13th July and Friday 4th August as the last.
