The Pokémon Company International has released Pokémon Primers, a new series of books to help young children discover the world of Pokémon while learning about the alphabet, numbers, shapes and colours.

Produced under their official publishing imprint Pikachu Press, each book has been illustrated and designed in-house with the first two books – Pokémon Primers: ABC and Pokémon Primers: 123 – now available at participating retailers around the world.

With captivating storylines, each has been created as a high-quality board book style with more than 100 flaps for children to interact with to help develop a foundation for learning. There is also a pronunciation guide for each Pokémon named.

“We are thrilled to deliver Pikachu Press’ first published Pokémon product for young Trainers with the new ‘Pokémon Primers’ series,” enthuses The Pokémon Company International director of publishing, Heather Dalgleish. “With families spending more time together, these new books will give kids and parents a fun and engaging way to learn more about Pokémon while brushing up on their ABCs and 123s.”

The next books in the series, Pokémon Primers: Colors and Pokémon Primers: Shapes are now available for pre-order.
