Pokémon Pass Rewards You With Shiny Pikachu Or Eevee

The Pokémon Company International will soon release a Pokémon Pass app for mobile devices, that, next month, you can use to scan a QR code to unlock a Shiny Pikachu or a Shiny Eevee.

Twitter user Tsukento had spotted advertising related to the new app in his local Target store, that promote the fact that the Pokémon Pass app can be used to obtain the Shiny Pokémon in either Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee!.

“Starting on May 11th, use Pokémon Pass to scan the code below to get a Shiny Pikachu for your Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee! game or a Shiny Eevee for your Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! game,” the promotional poster reads.

It would also appear that Pokémon Pass will have a sticker collection, with a separate poster presenting the chance to unlock a Psyduck sticker from Pokémon Detective Pikachu in the app.

As to when the app will release on the App Store for iOS devices or Google Play for Android devices is unclear, but, obviously, we can expect it to land before the promotion starts.

Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee! are now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
