The Pokémon Company International has announced that the free Pokémon Pass app is now available to download on iOS and Android devices, currently only available to those in the United States.

From Saturday 11th May – Sunday 23rd June, you can use the app to scan a special QR Code at participating Target stores in the United States to receive or Shiny Eevee for Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! or a Shiny Pikachu for Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!.

The Shiny Pikachu will be Level 10 and knows the moves Thunderbolt, Double Kick, Double Team, and Thunder. Whereas the Shiny Eevee will also be Level 10 and will know the moves Double-Edge, Iron Tail, Helping Hand, and Facade.

Pokémon Pass requires a free Pokémon Trainer Club account and will use geolocation to automatically notify you of nearby reward offerings, that, once selected, will guide you through several prompts to scan the QR Code to claim your Shiny Pikachu or Shiny Eevee.

Those that visit Target between 10am – 1pm local time on Saturday 11th May can take part in free giveaways to celebrate Pokémon Detective Pikachu opening in cinemas. While supplies last, this will include a Psyduck promo card for the Pokémon Trading Card Game and a movie poster.

In the future, Pokémon Pass will continue to offer more digital rewards at participating retail stores, such as Pokémon distributions for video games, digital stickers and wallpapers, and more.

Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee! are now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
