Pokémon Origins, which was announced last month, has been confirmed to air through the Pokémon TV application on November 15th.

Celebrating the worldwide launch of Pokémon X & Y on October 12th, these take a temporary step back to revisit where it all began in Pokémon Red and Blue when hero Red sets off from Professor Oak’s laboratory. On his journey across the Kanto region, he will stumble on Team Rocket’s dastardly plans, battle his rival, and take on the Pokémon League.

Set to be shown as a four-part adventure, the first will be available on Friday 15th November with the remaining episodes to be added in the days that follow.

The free Pokémon TV mobile application can be downloaded now for iOS and Android devices.
