The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has revealed the shortlist of games for this year’s BAFTA Kids Vote, which is the only category voted for by children.

That sees Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire and Skylanders Trap Team rub shoulders with Disney Infinity 2.0 Edition, LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham and FIFA 15. However, I’m fairly sure that Minecraft’s creative appeal will see it scoop the prize…

Children that are aged between 7 – 14 years old have until Saturday 21st November to cast their vote at the BAFTA Kids website, with the British Academy Children’s Awards to take place a day later on Sunday 22nd November.

The games in this year’s BAFTA Kids Vote shortlist are as follows:

  • Bin Weevils
  • Crossy Road
  • Disney Infinity 2.0 Edition
  • FIFA 15
  • Just Dance 2015
  • LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
  • Minecraft
  • Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire
  • Skylanders Trap Team
  • World of Warriors

The nominations for the British Academy Children’s Awards will be announced separately on Thursday 22nd October.
