The Pokémon Company International has revealed that Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX will release on Nintendo Switch in the coming months.

Set in a world inhabited only by Pokémon, you have become a Pokémon and can understand what other pocket monsters are saying.

Natural disasters have started to occur all over the world, and, to help Pokémon that now find themselves in trouble, you and your partner Pokémon form a rescue team to save them.

You will accept jobs from the Bulletin Board at Pelipper Post Office or from letters that will be delivered to the mailbox at your rescue team base. Completing jobs will reward you with more Rescue Points, which will see your rescue team’s rank rise from Rookie Rank.

Mystery Dungeons can be found in mountains, canyons, forests, and other places, in which you will find useful items such as Seeds, Berries, and TMs – with their layout changing each time you enter a dungeon.

Developer Spike Chunsoft has added new features such as Auto Mode that will help your party “move efficiently” in Mystery Dungeons, and the chance to press the A Button “to automatically unleash the best move to use on that foe.”

And, while you will choose three Pokémon to team up with to conquer Mystery Dungeons, you will also be able to add Pokémon that you encounter “to get up to eight teammates walking through a dungeon with them.”

There is a free Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX demo now available on the Nintendo eShop, from which you can carry your save data over to the full game on release.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 6th March 2020.
