Media Create has revealed that Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee! sold 661,240 copies in Japan last week, a number tally that covers the three days that it was on sale following launch.

The chance to return to the Kanto region also helped to boost hardware sales, with 200,850 Nintendo Switch consoles sold last week compared to 54,235 the week before.

The Nintendo Switch continued to dominate the software chart, too, where games for the portable home console secured ten places in the top 20.

With Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee! easily taking the top spot with Fallout 76 as the closest rival – which sold 73,489 copies – Nintendo continues to have a strong presence when glancing down the rest of the chart.

That comes from Super Mario Party (No. 3), Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (No. 7), Splatoon 2 (No. 9), Minecraft (No. 10), The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (No. 11), Super Mario Odyssey (No. 13), Kirby Star Allies (No. 16), RPG Maker MV Trinity (No. 17) and Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun (No. 18).
