As you continue to explore the Kanto region in Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee!, your growing bond with your partner Pokémon will see them occasionally hand you items.

The “mysterious” Gold Leaf and Silver Leaf are two items that you will be rewarded with, but, aside from their clear references to the Game Boy Color games that introduced us to the Johto region, it’s not particularly clear what they are for.

Their item descriptions state that “no trees with this leaf have been found yet,” and, at this point, it is believed that they have no purpose in the Nintendo Switch exclusives beyond simply being items that you can sell at the Poké Mart to stuff your wallet with more Poké Dollars.

Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee! are now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
