Nintendo has announced that pre-orders on Pokémon Legends Z-A are now open, whether you are choosing to to purchase the upcoming game on Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch.
Those who pre-order Pokémon Legends Z-A Nintendo Switch 2 Edition (£59.99) or Pokémon Legends Z-A (£49.99) through the Pokémon Center can receive one of three Pokémon Sitting Cuties Plush from a selection based on the starter pocket monsters in the game – Chikorita, Tepig or Totodile.
Whereas digital pre-orders for both Pokémon Legends Z-A Nintendo Switch 2 Edition (£59.99) and Pokémon Legends Z-A Edition (£49.99) are now live on the Nintendo eShop, which, for the original console at least, you can redeem a Nintendo Switch Game Voucher against.
The My Nintendo Store in the United Kingdom is inviting you to register your interest in physically pre-ordering the upcoming game, which will open through the online retailer from Wednesday 11 June 2025.
Those who place their pre-order on the My Nintendo Store will receive a Partner Pokémon figurine as bonus item. There will be Mega Evolution, Trainer and Champion’s Choice bundles available, which include items such as a pin set, cap, mug, umbrella and Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y figurines.
It has been confirmed that those who purchase either the physical or digital version of Pokémon Legends Z-A for Nintendo Switch will have the option to later upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition by purchasing an upgrade pack.
Set in Lumiose City, where an urban redevelopment plan is underway to shape the city into a place where humans and Pokémon can co-exist, in Pokémon Legends Z-A you will have the chance to befriend either Chikorita, Tepig or Totodile, who will become your first partner Pokémon.
Pokémon Legends Z-A will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide on 16 October 2025.
