The Pokémon Company International has confirmed that a Pokémon Legends Z-A demo will be playable at Gamescom 2025.
Alongside a hands-on demo of the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch exclusive, and attendees can also learn how to play Pokémon TCG and Pokémon UNITE.
“Attendees can try out a hands-on demo of Pokémon-Legends: Z-A, learn how to play Pokémon TCG and Pokémon UNITE at Play Lab, experience interactive moments with Pokémon TCG Pocket, and celebrate Mega Evolution with us!” The Pokémon Company International shared on social media.
After gamescom Opening Night Live is broadcast on Tuesday 19 August, gamescom 2025 will once again take place at the Koelnmesse in Cologne from Wednesday 20 – Sunday 24 August 2025.
Set in Lumiose City, where an urban redevelopment plan is underway to shape the city into a place where humans and Pokémon can co-exist, in Pokémon Legends Z-A you will have the chance to befriend either Chikorita, Tepig or Totodile, who will become your first partner Pokémon.
Pokémon Legends Z-A will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide on 16 October 2025.
