If you are searching for where to catch Cherrim in Pokémon Legends Arceus, then we’re here to point you in the right direction to discover the areas and locations that they will spawn in.

While you will need to catch both Cherubi and Cherrim on your mission to complete the first-ever Pokédex in the Hisui region, early on in the game you will be asked to show Cherrim’s completed Pokédex entry to Kichi to complete his request, To Bloom or Not to Bloom.

Your first option is to catch Cherubi, which can evolve into Cherrim once it reaches Level 25. Once it has evolved, you can then start setting out to complete the pocket monster’s research tasks.

The Cherry Pokémon will randomly spawn in the shaking trees that you will have likely already noticed on your adventure, with the earliest chance to catch one being at The Heartwood in Obsidian Fieldlands – near to where you will face Lord Kleavor.

Along with that location, as you can see in the screenshot above Cherubi will spawn in these areas:

  • Obsidian Fieldlands:
    • The Heartwood
  • Crimson Mirelands:
    • Gapejaw Bog
  • Coronet Highlands:
    • Fabled Spring
    • Lonely Spring
    • Primeval Grotto

If you have more patience, you can also try to catch Cherrim in the wild. The Blossom Pokémon appears in exactly the same locations as Cherubi, and, again, it will spawn at random once you have used a Pokémon from your party to strike a shaking tree.

For those on the hunt, Cherrim will spawn in these areas:

  • Obsidian Fieldlands:
    • The Heartwood
  • Crimson Mirelands:
    • Gapejaw Bog
  • Coronet Highlands:
    • Fabled Spring
    • Lonely Spring
    • Primeval Grotto

Whichever way you choose to add Cherrim to your Pokédex, there is still more work to do as you are required to complete the pocket monster’s entry to fulfil Kichi’s request.

With a Cherrim in your party, aside from catching either more Cherubi to evolve or Cherrim you will want to focus on making it use the Petal Dance move in battle and Agile style moves.

The other research tasks involve catching Cherrim during daylight hours (so make sure you’ve rested until morning at a Base Camp) and seeing them leap out of trees. Given their unpredictable spawn rates, it may be best to double up in battling Wild Pokémon while keeping an eye out for any trees that are rustling at the same time.
